Tina Turner, known as the “Queen of Rock 'n' Roll”, was an American singer, songwriter, actress, and author. Her powerful vocals and energetic stage presence helped break racial and gender barriers in rock music. Turner first became famous in the 1960s as the lead singer of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue. The duo were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1991, and Turner was inducted as a solo artist in 2021.
